A little bit about Houseplant Hospital…
Our Mission is to encourage sustainable practices for in-home gardening application and provide resources for in-home gardeners. Recycling, re-use, and salvage for plants and ceramic containers to keep these sorts of things out of landfills is a key concept. Management and utilization of Swarthmore’s limited bamboo resources is another company goal.
Workshops for building birdhouses, botanical exploration, and plant care are happening from time to time around town and available upon request. We can help you to create your own happier human habitat!
Finding ways to occupy vacant storefronts in our town is also a cause near to our hearts. The membership aspect will provide a means to this end. Eventually we aim to see a town completely busy and thriving.

Weekly Care of Plants in Home or Office
Do you enjoy the beauty and serenity that plants offer and simply do not have the time to care for them? I am happy to provide weekly support and maintenance for your plants. Cost is negotiable, dependent upon travel distance and the number of plants that require care.
Home/Office/Business Plant Care Visitation
$18 per hour
Can include a combination of the items on the right at your home or workplace. We could schedule a trip to a local greenhouse or nursery… if there is something you’d like to create or find, I can help.

Houseplant Hospital Membership
Members pay a monthly fee based on the services they require and their budget. A typical member would get (2) 1 hour visitations per month, one plant in daycare at any given time and discounts on lights, hydroponics and gatherings. Monthly cost for all of the above would be approximately $75.00. We would be working together to get you the indoor gardenscape that you want and for you to be able to gain the knowledge/skills to care for your plants with confidence.
